A few friendly pointers.
Add a piece
Tap Add artwork, choose your pictures, then give the piece a title and a few words. You can add several pictures in one go. Save a draft if it isn’t ready, or publish it to the gallery.
Photo, portrait, progress
Label each picture as Artwork, Reference photo, Work in progress, or Detail. The first Artwork picture is the cover. Use Make cover to choose another one. Add a caption to explain a stage in the process.
If one picture already contains a reference photo on the left and a portrait on the right, choose Split pair. This displays the two halves separately while keeping your original file intact.
Choose your featured pieces
Tick Feature on the homepage inside the editor. The arrows on each studio card change the gallery order. Archived pieces are hidden and can be restored as drafts.
Comments and your stories
Your artwork story appears beside the piece. Visitor comments are optional; enable them in Site settings. New comments wait here for approval. You can reply, hide a comment, or approve it again later.
Venmo
The payment panel gives customers your Venmo link and QR code, plus a reference they can copy. The amount on the site is a reminder; customers enter it in Venmo. Check your Venmo account before treating a deposit or balance as received. Automatic confirmation needs a separate merchant checkout integration.
Keep a copy
Use Download backup in Site settings to save your uploaded pictures, gallery records, account, and comments. Keep that file private. The installation package contains your website program files and imported original images.
About the imported artwork
The pictures came from your existing Wooly Paintings site. Except for “Last Embrace,” descriptive labels have been used where no title was provided. Rename any piece, add its story, and choose its availability. No piece is marked for sale automatically.
Pictures from your phone
Use JPG, PNG, or WebP. The studio makes a smaller web copy automatically. For an HEIC photo, export it as JPG first. For a video, add a YouTube or Vimeo link in the artwork editor.
